Madani Girls School

Madani Girls School was founded in September 1991 in order to fulfil the demands of a single sex girls' school in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas. Initially it started with 17 students in private accommodation at 38 Cannon street Road. Thereafter the student population continued to grow each year. In 1995, when student numbers reached 80 and with a similar number on the waiting list, school accommodation became inadequate, consequently the school relocated to 15/17 Rampart Street.

Then in 2001 the school moved to its present site in Myrdle Street to premises, which was previously occupied by Grenfell Primary School. The school is Ofsted and DfEE registered and has had a satisfactory report from its recent report.
