Alimah Course

From September the 5th the school opened up its Alimah course which is a combination of Islamic studies as well as National Curriculum subjects. The course is a five year course which will enable the students to study the core Islamic sciences in an in depth manner.
The chosen A-Level Subjects for the year are English and Maths, which will complement the Alimah studies.
The course will hope to provide research, analytical, interactive skills for the students. The course will have A-Level studies for the first 2 years thereafter the course will solely concentrate on the Islamic studies.
The following is the current subjects that are being taught and delivered in the Alimah course:
- Tajweed and Quran recitation.
- Fiqh: Islamic legal opinions and jurisprudence of the Fiqh of Imam Abu Hanifa.
- Seerah: The life of the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
- Adab: Arabic Language, literature, GCSE Arabic.
The following are the subjects that are being taught in the A- Levels:
- English
- Maths
Extra Activities:
All students are given a personal development programme, which consists of Essays, articles and other literature which are geared towards giving the students a firm reading programme that helps to develop their reading, writing and analytical skills, this if taken seriously will inshaallah help students in the Arts extremely.
